doing anything. It is that sensitive.

All 100 billion of your nerve cells, or neurons, are firing at least
once a second. Most are firing faster. Some are pulsing at
10, 20, 40, even 80 times a second. Everybody has a different
proportion of nerve cells firing at different rates. Nerve signals
travel up into the nerve cell body and out again. There is a dim
electrical echo after each neurochemical reaction. A cup sensor
placed on the head can read these electrical echos like a tiny satelite
dish. An EEG can processs these faint signals.
Yes, it is like taking a stethoscope to the kitchen and placing it on
the oven door. You can tell that something is cooking. But
you can’t tell what it is.
Using an EEG, brain wave biofeedback shows you how fast your brain
cells are firing. Once sensor can read about 100,000 nerve cells
nearest to the skull. The sensors can pick up the tiny electrical
by-product of your neurochemistry in action.
As with any biofeedback, when you can watch your pattern of
frequencies, you can learn to control how much of which frequencies you
are producing. Most everyone can learn to raise and lower the
average frequency of their own neurons. Just because you can see
what you are doing and changing as you go.
Now brain biofeedback uses computers with computer games or other
displays to provide positive feedback to train the brain. Most
everyone says that after learning to control their brain waves, they are
able to concentrate better. They can focus more attention at
will. What other learning tool can boost an IQ score by 10 or 20

How come I never heard of this?
Good question. I don’t know a good answer. Maybe
money? Or stodgy reputations? Neurofeedback does not have to
be very expensive. It is freely available, and there is not a lot
of money to be made. Anybody who is an expert about education or
